The Avelther family received an offer to sell the brand and move production to a factory line. They refused, and chose to close the workshop instead. Every pair is still bench-lasted by hand in Almansa, Goodyear welted, and built to outlive the brand that made it. This is the final production run at 70% off. Not a promotion. A farewell on their own terms. When the last pair ships, the name retires with it. No restocking. No exceptions.
The Adelaide shares its closed-lacing construction with The Oxford, giving it a similarly formal foundation. Made by hand in Spain with Goodyear welt construction and set on a single leather sole, it features brogue perforations and a U-shaped facing that add ornamentation while keeping the profile refined. Suitable for both formal and semi-formal settings.

Thirteen Years. One Last Run.
Thirteen years in the same workshop in Almansa. The same benches, the same wooden lasts, the same hands. A pair took days, not minutes, and left only when it was right.
That is also why it ends. We were asked to move production abroad and cut the welt. We said no, and closed instead.
What remains is the final run, now at 70% off. When a size is gone, it is gone.
Shoes like these outlive the workshop that made them. That was always the point.
